Jonathan Stryker est un cosplayeur célèbre pour sa capacité à se transformer en n’importe quel personnage, aussi différents les uns des autres qu’ils soient.

Stryker fait du cosplay depuis plus de 10 ans maintenant, fabriquant ses tenues et faisant son maquillage lui-même. Cela lui a permis de reproduire à merveille des personnages comme Eric de La Petite Sirène ou Le Chapelier Fou d’Alice au Pays des merveilles.

Dans une interview, Jonathan Stryker a déclaré: «Je suis gay et au lycée. Les gars me chassaient, alors je m’asseyais au gymnase et lisais mes bandes dessinées. C’est pourquoi le [cosplay] est si cher à mon cœur. Je n’avais pas beaucoup d’amis; je ne parlais à personne. C’était une zone de confort pour moi. Le cosplay m’a donné beaucoup de confiance en moi. «
